HISTORY & Lessons

In the mid 1990s, Rogers High was the first fastpitch softball team in Arkansas. That team of girls went against what was expected of them because they wanted more. They traveled out of state every week to play ball and improve their skills. Their determination gave birth to a softball legacy that I was proud to be a part of and am honored to continue.

The girls from the first Rebel team will soon graduate from college. Each girl from that team who tried out for their high school, made the team and many of them are starting for the Heritage War Eagles or the Rogers Mounties this Spring. This years players have the opportunity to continue in their footsteps and lead the next generation of Mounties and War Eagles.

Head coach, Jorja Blair, offers private lessons for those wishing to enhance their skills. Jorja pitched for the 2001 to 2004 Lady Mounties of Rogers High School. She has coached since 2004 and has assisted the Rogers Lady Mounties with their 2007, 2008, and 2009 seasons. Lessons are available for basic skills, position specific skills, and advanced situations. We gladly work with all ages and all skill levels.
